Intended use:
The kit is used for quantitative detection of canine progesterone in serum or plasma.
Principle of assay:
The kit is used to quantitatively detect the content of PROG in serum or plasma samples by immunochromatography. The test sample is mixed with diluent, then add mixed sample into the sample hole. PROG in the sample was combined with the fluorescent labeled PROG antibody to form an immune complex. The complex and unreacted fluorescent labeled antibodies move forward, unreacted fluorescent labeled antibodies are captured by antigen immobilized on the NC membrane. The more analytes in the sample, the more complexes the fluorescent labeled antibody reacts with the analyte, and the less the antigen immobilized on the nitrocellulose membrane is captured. After excitation at a certain wavelength, fluorescence signal was generated in the reaction area. The intensity of the signal is inversely proportional to the content of PROG in the sample. The concentration of PROG in samples can be detected by fluorescence detector quantitatively.
